
Biography
Emily Sartori has been a Licensed Clinical Social Worker since 2001 and is a graduate of Fordham University in Manhattan. Emily has worked in individual and family therapy, with a focus on using Mindfulness in daily life to manage a variety of challenges including anxiety, depression and trauma. Emily believes that inner peace and calm can be achieved through mindfulness practice, and that everyone can find a unique and creative way to practice on their own terms. She uses a strength- based approach, helping clients see their own abilities and potential, while learning to accept things that they cannot change, and take positive steps to change what they are able to.
Emily has been trained in Mindfulness, EMDR trauma treatment, ACT therapy, and Trauma Informed Therapy. She has worked with preteens adolescents and adults and has also worked extensively in grief and bereavement and death and dying.
