Cornelia Sewell-All, D.Ed., MA, NCC

Dr. Sewell-Allen enjoys helping people discover the greatness the lives within them. She is a nationally certified counselor (NCC) who believes that changing your thoughts can ultimately change your behaviors. Finding the right approach that meets the client’s needs is essential to a productive therapeutic relationship. Cognitive behavioral therapy, rational emotive therapy, solutions-focused, motivational interviewing, and psychoeducation are just a few approaches she uses to assist clients.

Dr. Sewell-Allen works with teens, young adults, women, and men to assist them in their growth and development. She is passionate about helping young women discover their inner beauty and power to be successful. Additionally, she is ally/safe zone trained and works with the LGBTQA population. Her goal is empowering you to be the best you!!

Dr. Cornelia Sewell-Allen holds a Doctorate in Education in administration and leadership studies from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, her master’s degree in counseling from the University of Scranton.

Dr. Cornelia Sewell-Allen also serves as the Assistant Vice President for Inclusive Excellence at East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania. Sewell-Allen has more than 10 years of experience in higher education and has held several positions at ESU prior to this appointment, serving admissions and student affairs. In her current role, she oversees the Center for Multicultural Affairs & Inclusive Education and the Gender and Sexuality Center in addition to serving as an advocate, educator, advisor, mentor, and supporter for underrepresented students on campus.
