Restorative Family Services will reopen to the public on July 13, 2020

It has been an interesting couple of months with maintaining social distance and social reform. Throughout every step of the way, our team has been here supporting each one of you during the changes we have been faced with. We have been creative in our ability to stay connected, by offering telehealth sessions, using social media to provide encouragement and inspiration through our Facebook Live: Rise and Reset, and through our content posting on Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube. Our mission is to provide access to mental health services, and I am so proud of my team for doing just that.

I know that telehealth services have been challenging for some, due to concerns about privacy and maintaining protected time to meet with your therapist without distractions. I am happy to announce that we will be opening our door to the public on July 13, 2020. Please discuss with your therapist your needs so that arrangements can be made to accommodate you. I strongly suggest that those of you who can maintain telehealth sessions, do so in the interim, so that we can manage the amount of people onsite. This opening is to accommodate individuals who are unable to do telehealth and could benefit from increased privacy. I have drafted some safety protocols for our re-opening to ensure that you and your therapist stay safe.

Safety Measures:

  1. Masks are required when entering public areas such as lobbies.  Masks can be taken off once you arrive in the therapy office.
  2. You will be required to sanitize your hands upon entering the therapy space.
  3. Avoid arriving earlier than 15 minutes prior to your scheduled appointments.
  4. You will be required to wait in your car until Clinician is done with the previous session.
  5. Please do not bring additional guests with you during your session. Additional guests will need to wait in your car  and outside the suite.
  6. If you have allergies, postnasal drip and are sneezing, coughing, blowing your nose, you will not be offered an in person appointment. It is understandable that this is the season for allergies to increase, but because of the risk we suggest you stick to telehealth sessions.
  7. If you are ill, or feel unwell, please request a telehealth appointment.

What we are doing!

  1. Each Therapy office is outfitted with a Germ Guardian, Air Purifier, with HEPA filtration system and UVC power that eliminates bacteria, viruses, and mold. While this is not a proven cure for Coronavirus, we are taking steps to ensure that we provide a safe environment for all.
  2. The offices are thoroughly sanitized at the start of each therapist shift, in between sessions, and at the end of the shift.
  3. We are also managing the schedules of Clinicians and appointment offerings to manage the amount of people in the building any given time.
  4. We have a new and much larger suite which offers more space for everyone.
  5. All groups will be virtual until further notice.

My utmost concern is to protect you and also protect the Clinician serving you. If you have questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact me directly at the telephone number below.
